About Me

James Schaap is a freelance multimedia journalist based in Washington, D.C. who recently graduated from George Washington University with an M.A. in New Media Photojournalism.

 

His specialties are in the growing field of Explainer Journalism but with a historical perspective, combining his editorial production skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop with an academic background in historical research and analysis at UCLA.
